Today I wanted to share my 10 best drugstore beauty buys with you. They are my tried and true go-to's in the budget category and I could add plenty more to this list, but stuck to just ten ;) These are in no particular order- and there are affiliate links in this post, thanks for your support.
Essie Gel couture- While this is not the cheapest nail polish you'll find at the drugstore, it does last way longer. I have painted my nails at home on the regular for a few years now and have been SO impressed with Essie's Gel line. It does not use a UV light, but comes with a topcoat and the color lasts me almost 2 weeks and I'm super rough on my nails. I picked up a few more colors recently and love all the shades they have...they're gorgeous!
Garnier Fructis Sleek Shot In Shower Styler- I will admit, I'm not big on drug store products for my hair. You have to be careful with ingredients, especially if you color your hair. This is super easy to use-use with your shampoo at 1:1 ratio, rinse and proceed with styling as normal. It cuts blow dry time in half and helps hair feel smoother. I don't use it every shampoo, just every other...and I only wash my hair every 5-7 days, sometimes more often depending on my activities. I have super coarse hair that doesn't produce much oil so it works for me. I love this product and for someone with very curly and coarse hair, I can tell you it works so well.
L'Oreal Voluminous Primer Mascara- This product is mentioned on the blog often, but for good reason- it's AMAZING! I can't live without a mascara primer now and can't say enough great things about this. It helps prep my lashes for mascara, makes them fuller and helps my mascara not flake all day. Total game changer!!!
OGX Coconut Coffee Body Wash- I purchased this last month for the first time and am in love. This body was is made with arabica coffee and coconut oil and the price is amazing for a big bottle. It helps exfoliate my skin and a little bit goes a long way, this is going to last a long time- definitely recommend!
Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick- Baddest Beige is the PERFECT nude and my first time trying this line of lipstick. Wow-if you are in need for a new nude color- look  no further. It goes on so smooth and is a great lippie.
Milani Stellar Lights Highlighter Palette- holy cow, are these colors gorgeous or what?! I love, love, love that you can use this one as a highlighter or eyeshadow. My tip- dampen a beauty blender and dab on skin with it, or spray your fingertips with some setting spray-tap in highlighter and apply to it the most gorgeous sheen!
Hard Candy Eyeshadow Palette - I didn't even know Hard Candy products were still around until I saw Christine talking about them on Instagram! I immediately went to Wal-Mart and purchased a palette- specifically the Lap of Luxury one. I've been using it almost every day because the colors are beautiful and super pigmented. I can't wait to pick up more, I have been popping by the beauty section to check out their things every time I'm in the store.
NYX Butter Gloss- This is another must have and is SO cheap! My go-to colors are Merengue and Tiramisu- but you can't go wrong with this gloss. I love it for an easy pick me up when I can't decide on a lipstick or make a big commitment early in the day LOL...but it's true. They're usually BOGO or on sale, which is an even better deal.
J. Cat Beauty Silicone Pad Brush Cleaner- I talk about the importance of cleaning your brushes weekly in this older post and I feel that the process was already easy before a silicone pad. Adding this brush cleaner to my regimen a few years ago has made things a breeze.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water- What a great product! I use this to remove my eye-makeup, then on the other side of a cotton round make sure all my makeup is gone post washing my face. I love that a bottle lasts so long and that it can be used multiple ways. No need to rinse after using, which is a huge perk-especially when traveling!

That's it for today! What is one of your favorite drugstore buys?
