Why I'm So Open As A Blogger

I had someone recently ask me how and why I'm so open on my blog.

It took me a moment to answer, but I wanted to share my thoughts on this today. There's some topics that people just don't talk or blog about- I want to share about REAL life. Whether it's struggling with anxiety, how to handle having a baby in the NICU, or dealing with a tough life event- I want to share what's happening in MY life and hope to help someone.
I hope to inspire people and bring some light and love to your day. I truly believe that anything is possible with hard work and big dreams. This little slice of mine on the Internet is proof of that. I never thought I would be a blogger, I had so much fun just reading others. I wanted to do it, and had no idea how...but one day I went for it and figured things out. I've learned SO much and connected with people around the globe. Those things alone are pretty cool and why I'm so open- I have met so many people through my writing.
I choose to be so open because it's therapeutic for me too. It's always been easier for me to write my feelings rather than vocalize them in conversation. I'm a very emotional person and it works best for me to gather my thoughts and type them out. I'm far more expressive and make more sense to myself, and I'm sure others in this way.
I don't feel as comfortable talking about these things in person, but for some reason I can write my thoughts and feelings publicly for all to read without hesitation. I really enjoy that blogging starts as somewhat of an online diary, but allows you to connect with anyone that may come across my website. I'm so open because reading other blogs has allowed me to smile, grieve, be thankful and so much more and I hope that I can do that for others now.

My dream is that through my life events, experiences, things I enjoy and silly ventures I can share some inspiration, real life raw moments that help you and some great shopping finds along the way.
Thank you for always listening, engaging and being part of my life! Xo!
