Homemade Taco Seasoning

Please tell me I'm not the only one who goes to make tacos and realizes we are out of seasoning. Womp womppppp....well, we've made it homemade before and it honestly tastes SO much better.
So I thought it was time to share the recipe on the blog because it's too good not to. I enjoy using it more than the packets you buy at the store, and it's really easy to make! You KNOW how I love easy recipes ;)

You will need:
1/2 cup chili powder
1/4 cup onion powder
2 tablespoon ground cumin
2 tablespoon garlic powder
2 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon black pepper

To make:
Measure all of the ingredients in to a jar with a lid
Shake until all ingredients are mixed
For one pound of meat you would use 3 tablespoon of seasoning plus about 1/3 cup of water
Shake well before each use

Again, I apologize for my not so good food photography, it's a struggle for me. But, food doesn't always have to look pretty to be good, right?!
I hope you enjoy this and try it out for your next Taco Tuesday- and let me know how you like it!

Have you ever made your own taco seasoning?
