Foolproof DIY Baby Gift

I've told you before, I'm that person who L O V E S giving gifts and coming up with something out of the ordinary to make it more fun.

When my Starbucks loving friend found out she was expecting, I couldn't wait to put together this gift for her. I had seen a variation of it on Pinterest, but made it my own with a few different and easy supplies and gifts for baby boy.

You will need:
4 Venti Cold Cups from Starbucks
4 Venti Straws from Starbucks
1 Drink Carrier from Starbucks
4 onesies, blankets, hats, or a variation of all
4 pipe cleaners or poms ( I used pipe cleaners)
Hot glue gun (you only use it for about 1 minute- it's painless)

To make:
Twist pipe cleaner around one of your fingers to get a corkscrew type shape
Put a small amount of hot glue on your straw and secure pipe cleaner by sticking the straw through the center of it
This will make the pipe cleaner look like a cherry
Place one cup in each spot of the drink carrier
Roll up one item for each cup
Fill the cup with the gift...onesie, blanket, or a hat
Stick straw down the side of the cup

A few things:
I wrapped my carrier and cups with some clear wrap and tied with a ribbon to secure.
I opted to use pipe cleaners and attach them to the straws instead of poms sitting on top of the items inside the cups so she could pull out each item to look at it and put it all back together if she wished.
Don't feel weird walking in to Starbucks and asking for 4 Venti Cold Cups & a drink carrier...they were super nice when I explained it was for a gift and handed over the supplies I needed. Baristas are your friends.

So, what do you think? I believe anyone can pull this off and I had a lot of fun making it. The best part was watching my friend open it...which is why I love handmade, unique gifts.
