Holiday Memories With Mezzetta Recipes

Christmas is all about the memories. Whether it's heading out to choose a tree at a local farm with the family, opening gifts on Christmas morning with your loved ones or baking cookies for your friends each one holds a special place in your heart. Growing up my Mom always had our house looking like it was Santa's workshop at the North Pole. Decor in every single room, twinkling lights all around, christmas cookies and holiday recipes baking after school and it was completely magical.

Some of my favorite Christmas memories took place on Christmas Eve. Visiting my grandparent's in Erie for the holiday was so special and our traditional Italian meal on Christmas Eve were always so fun. The feast of the 7 fishes is still done at my grandparent's home every year and I am still only eating everything but the fish.
Homemade pasta and sauce, a beautiful antipasto tray and the traditional maccaroni and cheese are more up my alley. I tend to strategically place the antipasto tray right next to me when setting the table. I think I was raised with a piece of salami in one hand and a piece of fresh Italian bread in the other.

Mezzetta tops the charts with their options for your antipasto tray. My favorite is the Mezzetta Italian Mix Giardiniera that you can use as a condiment when making sandwiches during your holiday meals. I have a simple, tasty idea for you to use when entertaining or feasting this season. To make it even more special I used my mom's Christmas plates that I inherited when she passed away. I absolutely love them because they bring back so many warm memories.

You will need:
Provolone Cheese
Italian Bread
Mezzetta Italian Mix Giardiniera

The execution is easy and the results are delicious.
You can spread your desired meats and cheeses on some festive plates.
Put Mezzetta Giardiniera mix in a festive bowl.
Slice a loaf of Italian bread and spread on another plate.
Mix together to create a sandwich or eat seperately on small appetizer plates.
For the BEST combination use the Mezzetta Giardiniera Italian Mix on top of your meat and cheese in a sandwich together.
