Favorite Aldi's Deals

I love shopping at Aldi, and I'm super sad for those of you who don't have one where you live.

It's probably the greatest hidden gem and a place I stop at weekly, so today I'm sharing some of my favorite buys from Aldi.

cheese- holy cheese. If you want great cheese for a small price tag, Aldi is where it's at! I buy cheese on every trip I make to Aldi- it's something we all love and can snack on.

nuts- nuts can be expensive. I love having them around for a healthy snack and you can get a big bag for $4 or $5 compared to almost $10 at other stores.

crackers- another great snack and something both kids eat in their lunches. Everything from oyster crackers for soup, to saltines and the typical kids crackers are MUCH cheaper than other stores.

cereal- Aldi brand cereal is way less pricy than name brands, and in some cases I like it better! I'm someone who eats cereal for a snack and if Chuck isn't home for dinner and you wonder what I'm having, it's probably cereal ;) The Golden Graham and Frosted Flakes brand at Aldi I actually prefer over the name brand. I buy the Honey Cheerios, Rice Krispies and more at Aldi- so good.

spices- this is a no-brainer. I just bought a canister of salt for 35 cents. Aldi spices are even cheaper than the dollar store, I always get them here. Things like olive oil, chocolate chips, vanilla extract and ingredients for cooking are definitely cheaper which is a bonus because they can add up quick.

fruits and vegetables-bananas, strawberries, raspberries, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini and cucumbers are some of the items I always purchase. Sometimes you have to look a little harder but they are A LOT cheaper than the produce section at your average grocery store!

yogurt melts & puffs for Bella- she still enjoys snacking on puffs and yogurt melts mixed with cheerios or another snack. I tend to mix them with other things since she needs more to keep her full these days

Some people get overwhelmed at places like Aldi's- I used to be one of them, but now I enjoy browsing the aisles and seeing what types of deals I can get and what new items are in store.

Do you shop at Aldi's? And I'm ratting myself out here- but is Trader Joe's like Aldi's, only better? We don't have one in Erie, but I've heard it's quite similar! What are your favorite deals at the store?
