Fall Bucket List

There's only a few days left until my favorite season begins...yay for ALL THE FALL THINGS!

Sometimes I feel like we only get a few weeks of Fall before the white stuff flies, so I always want to take advantage of the beautiful weather and all it brings. Today I'm sharing my fall bucket list for this year...all the things I would love to do and enjoy while my favorite season is in full swing.
-pick apples
-drink an apple cider slushie...kind of cheating, we already did this last weekend!! I wouldn't mind having another one though ;)

-visit a pumpkin patch...we are going to our favorite one this weekend, Port Farms. There are SO many fun things to do there and now that Bella is much more mobile I'm really excited to see how much she loves it.
-celebrate Bella's birthday... our girl is turning TWO years old on October 16th. This year flew way more faster than the first year, I can't even believe it. We are having a party close to home and a little more low-key than last year, but I still love to plan an event so I have another spreadsheet the works. The invites were just sent out, so I'll share more about the theme and party as it's closer since some people may have not received them quite yet!
-celebrate Chuck's birthday...right before Bella's birthday, two days before to be exact- is Chuck's! Last year we went to Top Golf to spend the day sans kids. To be honest, I don't have any plan in the works yet this year (sorry Charlie) BUT we will do something fun, regardless of the event. I love birthdays!
-enjoy Halloween... I LOVE to DIY costumes, but with Bella's birthday falling a few weeks before the big day, it's hard to coordinate it all. I am going back and forth between a few ideas I've thought of and may just take the easy route and buy it again this year! Either way, I hope it's better weather than what we experience last year. Again, I'm excited to see her reaction now that Bella is another year older!
-take in the fall foliage...a few years ago there was hayrides at the Peninsula to take check out the fall foliage. They included lots of fun facts, warm cider and hot chocolate and it was pretty interesting. Whether we do that again or take a ride on our own, I love to see the leaves changing!
-read a fall book...I looked up a few on Goodreads and think I'm going to check out The Well and Coraline. Have you read any Halloween or fall inspired books? Shoot me recommendations if you have!

I am so excited for Fall, if you couldn't tell! Our decor has been out for a few weeks now...I just got some mums on Monday and will be adding pumpkins outside this weekend.
What do you have on your list to do this season?
