I'm so excited for today's post to share some recent buys that are REALLY awesome.

Honestly, I love a mix of drugstore and high-end items and definitely enjoy trying new things. It's easier to do in the drugstore arena, considering price. Today's post is a variety of things and I LOVE every single one- so that's even more fun. There are affiliate links in this post, thanks for your support.
Maybelline New York Tattoostudio Eyeliner- many, many years ago I wore white eyeliner on my waterline to help brighten up the eyes. Well, I bought this eyeliner to try out and have been LOVING it. I can tell the difference looking in the mirror and in photos that my eyes are brighter. I swear I look half in the bag without my staple Stila eyeliner every day- haha, but this white one helps lighten and brighten and it's so good!

Essence It's All About The Brows- I haven't been thrilled with the results of my usual go-to Maybelline brow product and when I was in Ulta getting some things I saw this. I have never used a powder formula for my brows, but I fell in love. This is SO EASY to apply- there are 2 shades of powders, a wax and a brow highlighter. An amazing price for this product- so happy I tried it!

elf Cosmetics Poreless Putty Primer- say that five times fast. I am SO thrilled I heard about this and gave it a try. Only $8 and I can't believe it's priced this low (don't tell the brand I said that) ;) I can be kind of snobby about primers, because I haven't had a ton of luck with drugstore buys in this area. It's a tacky feel at first, but as you apply to the skin it's a wonderful velvety texture. I can't believe how well this works and keeps my face looking great all day-even in the heat. SO excited about this purchase and think everyone should try it!

Makeup Brush Holder & Organizer- I've needed a better way to store my brushes when traveling, and after the third out of town trip this Summer I finally found something that works and is inexpensive enough to not feel bad spending money on a trivial item. I love that it stands up and how the top folds down to get to your brushes. It's good quality and keeps brushes safe from the rest of your makeup when on the go or at home.

L.A. Girl Perfect Precision Lipliner- lipliner isn't a think I use often. I think I only had one before this purchase- but I picked up these from L.A. Girl in Flesh & Pinky. Tuned in to You-Tube to get some tricks, and I'm now applying lipliner like a pro ;) it's something I haven't used a lot so I don't have much to compare it to- but these are the right price for experimenting.

Revlon Permanent Root Erase Touch Up- desperate times call for desperate measures and I saw this online from Target at the exact time I needed it. Post vacation, no time to sit at the salon, but enough grays on the top of my head to make me cringe- enter lifesaver. This was so easy to mix up, apply and wash out and does a great job. If you're in a pinch and need something to hold you over until your next trip to the salon, this is a great option for you!

That's it for this round-up of my latest drugstore purchases...do you use any of these?
