My Favorite Podcasts

Over the past year, I've really become more interested in podcasts.

A longer commute to work, more downtime to listen at my desk, a relaxer when I'm on the treadmill- many things have contributed to my increased listening. Today, I want to share some of my favorites in case you're interested in checking them out!

The Morning Toast - all things pop culture-entertaining and super funny! From "The Girl With No Job" and Jackie O.- their chit-chat makes you feel like you're catching up with friends and I love that!
Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino- another pop culture hit! I LOVE Danny's banter and if you're a Bravo fan you will totally fall in love with this podcast. Danny talks with a bunch of Bravo-lebrities and breaks down the latest shows, drama and more. He also discusses other reality TV shows, music, Hallmark films and more- he always makes me laugh.
Two Judgey Girls- the first podcast I ever listened to, and it's still a top favorite of mine. Courtney (from LA) and Mary (from the Bay) live apart, but when you listen you would think they're in the same room. I LOVE their breakdown of Bravo shows, their impersonations and accents of the various reality TV stars and gossip. Reality TV is my vice, especially this one is totally up my alley and if you're in to Bravo you will enjoy it!
Goal Digger- a business based podcast that encourages you to dream BIG, see why I like it? The topics are always useful and totally helpful, encouraging and inspiring. I've listened to several that help with both my career and hobby of blogging. From productivity hacks to choosing the right mentor, there's something for everyone to learn from listening!
Lauren Conrad: Asking for a Friend- it definitely helps that Lauren's voice is SO soothing, but I could listen to this all day. She interviews various people and talks about everything from fashion, hair and makeup tips, relationships, parenting and more. I love that she talks about how things just aren't as they appear (on the Internet and Social Media) and dives in to the realness of everyday life.
To Live and Die in LA- I'm going to quote directly from the website, because they say it best- "Our debut season takes a deep dive into the mysterious disappearance of 25-year-old Adea Shabani, an aspiring actress and model who vanished without a trace from her apartment complex near Hollywood’s famous Walk of Fame. Last seen in February of 2018, Shabani is a native of Macedonia. Like the thousands who flock to Los Angeles each year, she hoped to realize her Hollywood dream of stardom. What really happened to Adea? The full story has never been told."
This is SO good- I highly recommend listening, it keeps you engaged and wondering how things could happen the way they did and wanting to find out what happened in the case.
Straight Up with Stassi- Another woman with a great voice, call me jealous! Stassi is funny, sarcastic, and I just love her. She talks with a variety of people about vacations, things you see on the show (Vanderpump Rules), her book and book tour, and everyday life. I love her wit- she keeps me laughing.
Life Kit: Parenting- NPR released a series of podcasts to help navigate your days, "life kits" as they call them. I tuned in to the parenting series first to help learn, grow and get advice on particular areas. I love what they share and will be checking out other topics next!
Second Life- The co-founder of Who What Wear, Hillary Kerr interviews various women in business- everyone from J-Lo to Kendra Scott and talks about career changes that can come at any age. A great listen, I love the discussions she has with all the different women.

Last, but not least today is launch day for my friends' podcast- Influenced! Christine and Lindsay happen to be two of my favorite bloggers also and are wildly successful and encouraging in this blogging world, I'm so happy for them. I know this will be a favorite of mine, so I had to mention it. You can listen several ways, including Spotify  and Apple Podcasts. Please go give them a follow and tune in!
