Currently...

I looked and it's been a whole year since I've shared a casual update on what I have been up to.

I love reading other's currently posts, so today we're talking about what's new in my world. I hope you'll share something about you in the comments.

Reading: My latest insurance book about businesses processes as a whole in the transaction of insurance, thrilling stuff guys! Education is great, and I feel empowered to have the opportunity to keep learning- seriously. When I'm not studying on my lunch or in other free time, my latest pick-ups from the library are: Far From The Tree, and this other cute book Confessions of a Domestic Failure, which was recommended by Biana!

Eating: I've become obsessed with banana chips as a snack and I discovered that they're at Dollar Tree which is even worse. Bring on allllll the banana, HA!

Wondering: If you happened to read my post from Monday about my thoughts on the recent blogging world. I step on the soapbox for a few, but I think it's important to share my candid reactions to things I read and see.

Watching: Too much TV, but late nights and on the weekends when it's too cold to do anything else....besides laundry, dust, clean out closets, etc, etc.... ;) Some recent things we have checked out on Netflix: You, (please do yourself the favor & read the book too- I read it back in 2016 and reviewed it here ), also The Fyre Festival, Abducted In Plain Sight, and the comedian Michael Che.

Wishing: For warmer weather, I know it's Winter and I live in the snow capital Erie, Pa...but some consistent milder temperatures would be WONDERFUL. It's so refreshing to see the sunshine, not deal with wind or ice...calling Spring please!

Taking: Pictures for Poshmark. I've made a few purchases on Poshmark in the past, but have never attempted selling anything. I took a ton of pictures on Sunday and spent time listing them that evening and in to Monday. Who knows how it will go, but I thought it was worth a try! I have some great pieces only worn a few times and even some of Bella's things listed- and baby clothes are ultra cute! You can check out my closet HERE :)

Purchasing: I purchased a sample of  Moody Sisters foundation after reading about their brand on Lindsay's blog. Moody Sisters Skincare is all about finding healthier alternatives that are more natural than the chemicals found in makeup and skincare that we typically buy. I'm excited to try it out after e-mailing them a picture of my skin in natural light without makeup...they quickly responded with which shade they thought would be best. I also purchased three products from The Ordinary after reading about Nadine's great results with it and so far am really enjoying what I have tried. I have a few more things in my cart and after using them for a while I will share an update!

Thankful For: Despite the cold weather, I'm super thankful for the options we have to keep entertained indoors. We have visited the Children's Museum in town a few times thanks to the membership we have, and now that Bella is mobile she can do so much more! During a recent day off from work and school we took the kids to the Cleveland Aquarium and lunch at PF Chang's. We love their food and don't have one locally- Bella loved playing with the chopsticks and coloring for the first time at a restaurant. The aquarium was really cool and we got to see some divers that were in the shark tank and they signed to Bella. One was asking us how old she was, as she just had a baby 7 months ago- a guide was translating to us what she was asking and it was really awesome how they interacted with visitors! Ethan and I went bowling one night and had a bunch of fun, especially watching his antics. Totally thankful for fun indoor activities this time of the year!

That's about all that's new this way- tell me what you've been reading or watching or doing this Winter. Hope you're all having a wonderful week! XO!
