As a busy mom on the go, Summer can be so much fun but also kind of intimidating if you're not prepared. There's summer parties, graduation, new Summer gear to stock up on, soccer season, and then it's already time for back to school shopping. I've become SO thankful for Giant Eagle, because not only can I shop for groceries online and schedule a pick-up, but I can also stock up on gift cards to make my Summer activities a one and done stop. The fuelperks+ make it an added bonus- we save while we shop.
Before making the trip to Giant Eagle, I make a list of all our Summer activities. My planner keeps me organized and ready for the season- first up there's Memorial Day picnics, then stocking up for new cleats and shorts for soccer season. Then, since I'm starting a new job I'll want a few new things for my work wardrobe. It's Bella's first summer so she needs seasonal clothes and a few bathing suits and Ethan always has a birthday party to attend and teenagers love gift cards! I jot all this down while flipping through my planner and double checking dates so that I'm well prepared for all that's to come the next few months. I like to also stock up on gift cards to have on hand for occasions that come up unexpectedly- sometimes that happens and it's nice to have a gift on hand to treat someone you love. My personal favorite is Starbucks gift cards- everyone can use some coffee!

We made a stop at Giant Eagle while out running errands, and I love how simple it is to shop- especially with a baby on my hip. The gift cards are close to the register and neatly divided by category making it easy to grab what I need and get moving. I make sure to grab some good snacks to keep me fueled while we are busy running around this Summer. A few protein bars, some iced coffee and some savory popcorn does the trick to keep Mom energized! What's great about shopping at Giant Eagle is that the more I spend- the more I save. You can earn up to 20% off groceries or a free tank of gas,  it's a win- win!
While shopping or fueling up at the Get Go pumps, the earnings add up and with every 50 perks you get an additional 2% off your groceries or 10 cents off per gallon of gas. Before leaving, I make sure to fill up the gas tank and keep earning savings at Giant Eagle. It makes sense to always fill up here, because I'm saving money on our grocery bill or next tank of gas- two things we always need.

For those of us who live busy lifestyles, (all of us, am I right?)-there is an app you can download and start to save. The savings calculator shows you how many perks you can earn based on what you save and it also keeps track of your perks and shows you how close you are to your next discount!
We save SO much shopping at Giant Eagle- it's great how I never think twice about coming here.

With all the savings from Giant Eagle using the fuelperks+ program- not only do we have extra time together as a family, we also have bonus money to spend on some fun activities. With our savings from this Summer shopping at Giant Eagle we are planning a weekend trip away to Pittsburgh. It's close enough that not too much time is spent with baby in the car and we LOVE the zoo and aquarium. The conservatory is another great place, and we always hit up the Strip District for some great shopping and food. All of this is possible this season thanks to Giant Eagle! We are so thankful for their awesome program, great convenience of one stop Summer shopping and how easy it is to track our savings. I encourage you to learn more about the Giant Eagle fuelperks+ program here so that you too can save and win all year long!
Thanks Giant Eagle for making Summer fun less chaotic for this Mom and more memorable with my family. And as always- thank you for reading the brands I work with at Dream Big and Buy the Shoes.
