Being A Mom Means...

In the spirit of Mother's Day, I wanted to share some thoughts on being a Mom.
I've been fortunate to be a part of Ethan's life for ten years now, and it's been so fun to watch him grow. It's a little sad that it seems to happen so fast, but it's taught me to not take a single minute for granted. Being a Mom to a newborn, and part of a life since day one is a little different and I'm so thankful that I've got to experience both scenarios. There's nothing in life that makes me happier than being a Mom.

Being a Mom means...
-busy days and long nights and going to bed with the best "job" in the world.
-pulled hair and messy ponytails and smiles during it all.
-not understanding homework, but knowing how to help you through it.
-repeating myself 4 times in a row, going crazy, and still loving you.
-dirty diapers, runny noses, headaches and doing anything to make you feel better.
-loving you whether you started from my belly or not.
-cherishing every second of chaos.

I am so very thankful to be a Mom to my Ethan and Bella, and don't take a minute for granted. To all the ladies out there doing this big job of being a Mom- your word does not go unnoticed. I wish to everyone struggling to have a baby that your wish comes true someday. There are so many types of Mom's and every single one is special in their own way.
Happy Mother's Day- I hope you enjoy your special weekend.
