My 101 in 1001: Update Three

I was really excited to create My 101 in 1001 list and to see some progress made on it during the last two updates. If you're not familiar with what a 101 in 1001 list is you can read about it here and see what my list started with.

I made a little progress this period,  but not as much as I expected. I STILL need to learn how to of these nights when I'm feeling laid back and patient, or when my husband is feeling patient I should say. I totally failed in listing my wedding decor and having it out of the house before Summer as I would have hoped, but I need to pull it all out and take some pictures to post it.I feel like I'll knock a good amount off when the weather cools off and that scary W word rolls around. (Winter)...eek!
We've had a busy Summer, which has turned out to be a lot of fun even if we haven't left Erie too often. So here's what I did the past few months:
    Eat from a food truck
Every summer there is a local motorcycle rally that comes through Erie called Roar On The Shore and this year they had a national bid for food vendors, meaning none of our local food trucks and restaurants could participate in this local event. Dumb. So instead of doing nothing, the locals got together for an event of their own and there was so many food trucks to eat from. It happened to be right down the road from work so a co-worker and I hit up the event on a Friday afternoon to enjoy some lunch.

    Buy a bike
I was so excited when I was gifted from both sets of my in-laws gift cards for my birthday because I've been wanting a bike but didn't really want to spend the money on one. I am the proud new owner of this baby and couldn't be happier. Of course Ethan has a bike and Chuck recently got one too as his one year gift from his company. I can't wait for all the family fun!

Take a drive with no destination planned
Chuck and I will now typically have the same days off together which is really great. This past Monday we lounged around for most of the morning after a busy day Sunday (more on that next) and in the afternoon he told Ethan and I to get in the car. I had no idea where we were going, and apparently either did Chuck.
We drove all over the city, out to a nearby town full of vineyards and even in to New York. It was such a beautiful Summer day...driving around with the windows down and just being together was so nice. We drove for about 3 hours and ended up back in downtown Erie with ice cream cones in hand.

Find a butterfly garden and visit one
I recently heard about Cleveland Botanical Garden and convinced Chuck and Ethan to take the trip last Sunday. I was amazed at how big it was and how many things there were to do and see. I am considering writing a whole post on this because there are so many beautiful pictures to share and things to write about. Would ya'll be interested?
Here's a few to hold you over...

Make 5 new crafts                                                                                                                  Craft 3 of 5 has been made when I put together the Foolproof DIY Baby Shower Gift. It was so fun to make and it's right when our camera stopped working so I didn't get any pictures once I wrapped it up, but it was so fun to make.

    Update old posts
While I didn't update any photos for old posts that could use it, I did update SEO on about 15 of them at the end of May. Our camera is being worked on and fixed at the moment so once we get it back I hope to get in to learning it more and updating pictures this Winter.
Looking at My 101 in 1001 list overall, I've got a good amount of things checked off which is great. I think I'll have a bunch more knocked off before the new year comes and that makes me feel good. Looking back on how much has already been done is great and makes me want to work hard to keep going and reaching new goals and definitely try new things.
