I look back and can't even seem to remember the beginning of February. I don't love the months flying by, even though I'm dreaming of Spring...but I do enjoy recapping them. Having this space allows me to document things which makes for great memories.
Sharing some of my favorite links around the Internet, including some of my own--here's my favorites for this month:
Favorite Post About Blogging: Erika from Coming Up Roses shares the importance between branding and design...and yes, there is a difference.
Favorite Purchase: It's pretty simple, but a black and white version of one of my favorite wedding pictures to complete our entry way...for now.
Favorite Post About Life: Katie told us all about The Simplicity Challenge from Emily Leys and how we can make our lives a little clearer.
Favorite Fashion Post: Samantha from Life & Messy Hair shows off her leather and flares. Two basics I can get behind...so simple and stunning.
Favorite Moment: Sending out Valentine's to my gal pals. I love some good ole' snail mail and finding the perfect little notes took me back to grade school. I loved hearing everyone's reactions too...day made!
Favorite Recipe Post: My gals from The Sequin Notebook never fail when it comes to a cocktail. This black & white cookie martini could find itself on repeat in my house!
Favorite DIY: Zoe shows us how to make a paper wrapped bouquet. I love flowers and brightening someone's day...I can't wait to try this out.
Favorite Instagram Pic: Shane shared this beautiful picture & reminded me to take in every single second.
Imagine there is a bank account that credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening the bank deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course? Each of us has such a bank. It's name is TIME. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to a good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no over draft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no drawing against "tomorrow." You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness and success! The clock is running!! Make the most of today. 🕤🕤🕦 #imagine #truth
