Beauty On A Budget // Dry Shampoo

One thing I really want to do this year is collaborate with other bloggers. There are so many strong & interesting people in the blog world and I love to get to know them better. Working on projects lets my creativity run wild and I am really excited about this series with my beautiful friend Lindsay from Bourbon, Lipstick  & Stilettos.

Beauty On A Budget is all about great drugstore buys that you may not have considered trying. I love my Sephora, Ulta, MAC & Nordstrom goodies but there are so many amazing products out there that you can find at your local Target, Wal-Mart or even at the grocery store.

Lindsay and I will each be sharing a product in a different category the third Monday of every month in this series and today we are starting with hair.

Let me be honest with you. I don't wash my hair every day. I have naturally curly, coarse, thick hair...that I usually straighten. My routine isn't that difficult, but it does take time to achieve the look for the perfect at home blowout . In those off days, I am a huge fan of dry shampoo.

I swear every female is on the lookout for a great dry shampoo that doesn't hurt the bank account, since (if you're like me), you buy it in bulk. I've used SO many different products in this category and finally found the perfect budget friendly dry shampoo.

Batiste Dry Shampoo is not only inexpensive, but it applies evenly, works great and smells yummy too. I first found a travel size in the Wal-Mart checkout line, but when I was at Marshall's the other day I spotted it and had to scoop a few up. At only $6 a bottle, this stuff is a life saver.

batiste dry shampoo for brunettes

I remember years ago in college hearing about brunettes putting baby powder in their hair in between shampoo's. Those days are over now that we have dry shampoo. I like to apply mine by lifting the roots of the areas I'm targeting, shaking the bottle of Batiste, spraying 10-12 inches from the hair and teasing a little with my fingers. I don't brush it out because I like the added volume it gives me.

I love the scent of the original formula, but Batiste also offers different ones if you're not a fan of the original version. I crave summer year round so I grabbed a bottle of the Batiste Tropical to pretend I'm on a beach when I use it in the morning. Batiste has such a wide variety of dry shampoo's that are all budget friendly, so there's sure to be a bottle for every girl out there.

I am seriously in love with Batiste Dry Shampoo since there seems to be a formula for everyone at a price point that can't be beat. Dry shampoo saves my day at least 4 days a it's a must have beauty buy for me.

If you want to buy 33 bottles of Batiste, or a bunch of other fun stuff I've got the perfect giveaway for you. How's $200 PayPal cash sound? I've teamed up with a beautiful group of bloggers to give you just that. You have until Monday January 25th to enter. If you're entering from my blog please put MY blog name "Dream Big & Buy the Shoes" in the free entry.
