Our 2015 Christmas Card

I LOVE snail mail. I send cards to my friends on their birthday, for special occasions, and no reasons at all. I really enjoy the thoughtfulness of a card and sending something special in the mail.

The same thing applies when it comes to Christmas...holiday cards are a must. Some people think they are a waste of money, but I love sending them each year. I typically purchase a Groupon for Zazzle and get our cards at a fraction of the cost I would normally pay.

I was especially excited to choose a picture this year since we had so many gorgeous shots from the wedding. The one we chose for the front of our Christmas card is one of my favorite pictures of our special day. The colors wow me every time I look at it and I knew we had to use it.

I know it's not the traditional snow on the ground, white Christmas red and green card, but it's my perfect little family and I'm pretty in love with it. We got married in the fall which is our favorite season, so to have that represented on our holiday card is pretty sweet.

For the back I wanted something a little fun, and as I mentioned before...we are shoe fanatics, so we used one of our wedding day shoe shots. The picture of all 3 of us with our shoes didn't fit on the vertical design, but I found another place to use that one.

Fun address labels are always a good idea, and I love when they go with the theme of the card. We used our group shoe shot for the labels and I adore the way they turned out. So cool and so different...Ethan was pretty excited to see his shoes on a label.

I've used Zazzle in year's past- actually last year's holiday card was a non- traditional touch on Christmas too and even used them for our wedding Save the Dates and got some great deals from Groupon. Zazzle always ships things very quick and the site is easy to navigate which I love.

Creating our holiday cards is one thing I look forward to each year. It's fun to look back on the year and send some cheer to our family and friends.  I also love receiving cards from everyone, because mail is ALWAYS fun...but especially during the holidays.

Happy Monday friends!!!
