Well friends, it's good to be here. I'm not going to lie, I've missed here in my space on the Internet. I've missed you and I'm sad that I frankly don't have the time to read everyone's blogs recently.
As of this moment, we are less than 3 weeks away from the wedding. This means that I've been all sorts of crazy. Working 45 hours a week, training new employees, getting Ethan back on a school schedule, keeping up on household duties and oh...finishing the final details of our big day, each day has been a whirlwind.
I STILL haven't shared the little details of my shower, but I still plan on it. I have recipes to share that I have photographed but not edited, and all kind of drafts started but I swear I will get to those someday.
For now, let me catch you up on what else is new in my life with an always good currently post.
Watching: Don't Be Tardy on Bravo. This family is crazy and I love it. My addiction is reality TV and I don't care who knows it.
Eating: A cosmic brownie. What wedding diet? Wanna know a funny story? Last monday I had another fitting for my gown. I was craving a chocolate peanut butter milkshake from Coldstone Creamery. I usually have one a summer, because I have to limit myself. I went to my fitting and my gown slid right on and looked great. So naturally I drove right over to Coldstone and got myself a milkshake.
Wondering: If I can be trained to be a non stomach sleeper. I got some eyelash extensions and am trying not to crush these things every night. I start on my back and most times wake up partially on my side but my face planted down in to the pillow or bed. Never fails. How the heck do I change how I sleep? Is it even possible? Also, #firstworldproblems....I know I sound insane.
Shopping: For a rehearsal dinner dress. Warning, I'm not wearing white. Save it for the wedding day, seriously. I'm not a huge fan of that color anyways, so I'm going against the rules and trying to find something different. I will be scooping up one from somewhere by the end of the holiday weekend because, Labor Day sales...YEA!
Proud of: My fiance. He recently got a new job with an amazing company and has been working his butt off. He is so driven, calm, and hard-working and I am proud to call him mine.
Loving: My bouquets for the wedding. On Friday night I made my bouquet and my bridesmaids'. They turned out really amazing and I'm really proud of my work. I made them out of some artificial flowers that I chose over the past few months and I can't wait to share with everyone next month!!
I mean, not much else is new....I work, come home, sit in front of the computer working on my wedding to do list, eat dinner, do laundry, and go to bed to do it all over again. I hope to stay up on things with you these last few weeks until the wedding. I will be back to a completely normal schedule after it all, I promise. I feel like a bad blogger, friend, and person in general because life is so busy...so hopefully you'll be here with me through it all.
As always, I appreciate your support and love.
Until next time...
