DIY Polaroid Picture Frame

Happy Monday friends. I hope everyone had a wonderful, relaxing holiday weekend. I am still recovering and getting back in the groove, so today I'm sharing a guest post I did on Lindsay's blog, Bourbon Lipstick & Stilettos.

I recently got a Fujifilm Instamax Mini 8 and am loving the instant mini pictures and all the fun that comes with it.

To make the polaroid picture frame you will need:

A picture frame
Mini clothespins
Floral wire or twine
Thumbtacks

I chose to spray paint my frame, wire, and clothespins gold to create a fun, cohesive look. I think this would also look great with a nice wood frame and twine instead of wire for a rustic, natural look.

Begin by hanging your wire or twine from the frame so that you can clip on your picutres. The wire I used fit in the sides of the frame tucked in so I didn't need to use thumbtacks to secure it, but you may need them to push in the side and hold the wire or twine in place.

Once your wire is in place you can stand the frame upright and hang your pictures.
I love that with this frame you can siwtch out the pictures as frequently as you would like to make it fun and personalize it.

If you love picture frames and DIY projects I also made a "Sealed With A Kiss" frame that is really cute and makes a great gift too.

The fun part about this project is that you can change the size of the frame you want to use and incorporate bigger pictures if you woudl like to. The options are endless, and completely customizable.
