I don't say this get any attention or for you to pay me compliments. I say it because I want to make a change. I want to look in the mirror and love what I see. There's a lot of things I love about myself, underneath all the things I pick apart I really do embrace the woman I am.
I feel that too many women don't support other women. Hey, we are all in this together, we should be showing each other love. Instead of criticizing their hair in a picture someone posts or thinking that they are vain for even posting it in the first place, let's take a step back.
Please take a moment and think that maybe it took them 12 pictures, 5 minutes of contemplating, and a heck of a lot of self-esteem to post that picture at all.
Let's hit that heart button, click the thumbs up, and support our fellow women. We don't know what the other person behind that cell phone or computer screen is dealing with. Show the love, and spread it!
I encourage each one of you to look in the mirror, at least once a day and pick out something that you love about yourself. Own it, love it, and believe it. You Are Beautiful.
My Love List :
My eyes- they are bright green, and sometimes change colors of green. I love them.
My nose- I don't know why, but I think it's the perfect shape.
My toes- I love them because my mom's were the exact same, little and kind of chubby. Perfect piggies, ha.
My sense of giving- I would give a friend the last dollar I owned. I love showering people with gifts, because it makes me happy. I really enjoy making people smile.
My determination- when I set my mind to something, you better believe I'm going to do it. I pride myself on being a hard worker. I don't slack, and I love to give 110% and master everything I do.
See...that wasn't so hard. Now it's your turn.
Tell me one thing you love about yourself, it would make my day to learn more about my beautiful readers!

I love my freckles!
ReplyDeleteThis is terrific. You go, girl! I think it's awesome to say what you love about yourself. You are beautiful inside and out!
ReplyDeleteVery well written girl!! My husband oddly enough started this thing before we go to bed he makes me say one thing I love about myself...at first it was sort of weird but now i really feel like I do love those things about myself! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteLove this! I'm super critical of myself too, but I'm trying to be better about seeing the good!
ReplyDeleteI love the "sense of giving" I think that's such a special characteristic. I'm really bad about taking compliments too!
ReplyDeleteI am very self-critical and quick to point out my flaws instead of my positives. It's a horrible habit that I know I have. My mom made a good point that really changed how I would think about that "Would you say any of that to your best friend?" OF COURSE NOT. That was really staggering to me and now I always think that when I start to get overly critical. That's when it's good to think about what I love about myself.
ReplyDeleteI love that you love your toes because they are your moms. xo
ReplyDeleteLove this! I do the same going, and need to focus on the things that I do love instead of focusing on what I don't. And that is too cute about your little piggies yay toes!
ReplyDeleteI love this girl <3 You are oh so beautiful, inside and out!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this! We are definitely all way too hard on ourselves - I think we notice things that other people never would! One of my favorite things is my eyes as well :) You are gorgeous and never forget that!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, you are so incredibly sweet! I love your first point...when I get complimented on my skin I think that it can't be true, because I think it's awful. I need to learn to love EVERYTHING about myself. Thank you for your kind comments, XO!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Rachael, that is so sweet of you and makes me smile! XO!
ReplyDeleteYes, we all need to love ourselves more...there's nothing wrong with self-confidence and self-love. Thanks, my toes always make me smile :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Nina, it makes me really happy because they make me think of her :) XO!
