Easter Marshmallow Treats

Baking cupcakes is my jam. If I had my wish someone would give me enough money to open a cupcake shop so I could bake all day every day and sprinkle happiness to everyone that would step foot through my door.

I don't see it happening anytime soon, but I enjoy making deliciousness happen in my own kitchen. When I was prepping for Easter this year I decided to make a fun twist on your original Rice Krispie Treats for the holiday.

You Will Need:
1 10 oz. bag of mini marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
3 tablespoons butter
festive sprinkles

To Make:
Heat the butter in a large sauce pan on low heat
While melting, pour in the entire bag of marshmallows and stir
Contine stirring until marshmallows are completely melted
Remove from heat, add in cereal & sprinkles, and stir until coated and mixed with marshmallows
Coat a 13x9 dish with cooking spray and using a spatula, press the mixture in the dish
Top with more sprinkles for festive fun
Allow to cool completely and then cut in to 2 inch squares

For some extra fun, I added some of my Easter printables found here . The best part about these treats is they can be made festive for any occasion with different sprinkles!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and Easter with the ones you love. Celebrate Spring & enjoy the sunshine!

  1. YES! I could eat krispie treats for every meal. Love the sprinkles. I love putting anything into them. I even tried gummy bears, which wasn't bad.
