HumpDay Confessions

I can't tell you how good it feels to get things off your chest. Even if you don't have a blog you should try writing it down sometimes.

Vodka and Soda

Linking up with Kat from Vodka and Soda for Humpday here we go....

1. I feel as if I went to college just to pay student loans. Sure I learned alot of life lessons and a good bit of knowledge and am sure proud to be Penn State Alumni but I wish someone would have just told me what to do with my life a long time ago. At least I'm happy....

2. I am trying really really hard to not overspend on Christmas this year. The thing is I LOVE giving gifts. I have so much fun choosing things I think people will like. I love watching their faces as they open presents. I love it alllllll. I need to learn how to stop buying gifts when I get to a reasonable amount...yup...I'm pretty much one of Santa's elves.

3. I don't have health insurance at the moment and it scares me and pisses me off. I am still too new at my job to qualify for benefits through them, and to be honest, I can't afford the Affordable Care Act. From the people I've talked to...either can they...not so affordable Mr. President.

4. I am CRAVING a vacation. The fact that I probably won't be getting one until my bachelorette party bums me out big time. At least we have our honeymoon to look forward to. While on that subject..anyone have recommendations on reasonably priced honeymoon spots? At least I have plenty of time to practice my dance moves for Brit until we see her in Vegas for my bangin' bachelorette bash!

5. I love sunshine and warm weather, but these 77 degree days are killin me smalls! I live for crisp fall air, scarves and sweaters. Bring on the cooler temps ASAP please Mother Nature.

A huge thank you to Britney Spears for joining us're always there when a girl needs you!

What's something you need to confess and get off your chest? Let's hear it in the comments!

  2. I worked at my crappy ass retail job for almost 4 years because I knew if I quit, I would be without insurance for several months. :( Less than 2 months after I was married and under Shawn's insurance, I quit my job. I don't think it's right that we should pay so much for health insurance.

    1. Health insurance is a sore subject for me. Especially since I used to work in the field and would see how much people were robbed every day. It's truly sad.
